The LB Tower Hamlets is one of Londons smallest boroughs. Located in the east of the city it has a vibrant and diverse population. The borough has a relatively low percentsage of tree cover and consequently it is making great efforts to manage and expand its tree stock. Following retirement of its Principal Tree Officer the council is looking to recruit a permanent replacement to fill the vacancy. Whilst this recruitment process takes place they require a fully competent technical arborist to stand in on a temporary basis. The contract will be for a minimum of four months. Candidates must have a level three qualification (as a minimum) and ideally some previous technical experience. Salary is up to £30,080. The position is available immediately. Due to the small size of the borough candidates are not required to provide a car.
